Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

I had a sinus lift surgery together with implant yesterday in Dr. Wesselβs clinic. I have been hesitated to do sinus lift for a while, freaking out by some youtube videos of procedures and a few bad experiences provided by Reddit users. This year I lost another molar in the right side, plus encouraging by 5-star reviews given by Dr. Wesselβs patients, I finally decided to do it. The entire procedure yesterday was not very painful, but if you are going to have it, you need to expect the usual noise and uncomforted long time opening mouth, etc.; one thing I didnβt expect is the strong vibration during the surgeryβ¦.After surgery, I searched online and guessed that the uncomfortable vibrations was caused by possible advanced tool and technique Dr. Wessel used in sinus lift surgery. So far, I feel good, no after bleeding, still a little swollen but not bad. My nose and sinus work well as before, no bad smell or whatever as some unlucky patients said in Reddit. I would definitely refer Dr.Wessel to friends if they need implants. Thank you Dr.Wessel and your team!

Completed my first deep clean yesterday and they did a phenomenal job. It was my first one and I didnβt feel anything during the procedure and very minimal to no discomfort at all the rest of the day. Just little twinges at the injection sites where the numbing went in. The numbing was the only anxiety inducing part but doesnβt last long. Didnβt even take anything for pain afterwards because I did errands and didnβt get home until super late but didnβt even need to! Highly recommend.
